Ingredients

Main Ingredients

  • 1 lb large shrimp, peeled & deveined (tails on or off)
  • 8 oz linguine pasta or your favorite pasta
  • 4 tbsp unsalted butter
  • 2 tbsp olive oil
  • 4 garlic cloves, minced
  • ½ cup dry white wine, like Pinot Grigio or Sauvignon Blanc
  • ½ cup chicken or seafood broth
  • 1 lemon, juiced + zest
  • ¼ tsp red pepper flakes optional, for heat
  • ¼ cup fresh parsley chopped
  • ½ cup grated Parmesan cheese
  • Salt & black pepper to taste

Optional Add-Ins

  • 1 cup cherry tomatoes halved
  • 1/4 cup heavy cream for a richer sauce
  • 1/2 tsp Italian seasoning

Instructions

Cook the Pasta

  • Bring a large pot of salted water to a boil.
  • Add linguine and cook until al dente (about 8-10 minutes).
  • Drain, reserving ½ cup pasta water, and set aside.

Sauté the Shrimp

  • In a large skillet, heat butter and olive oil over medium heat.
  • Add shrimp in a single layer and cook for 1-2 minutes per side until pink. Remove and set aside.

Make the Garlic Wine Sauce

  • In the same skillet, add minced garlic and sauté for 30 seconds (don’t let it burn!).
  • Pour in white wine and broth, simmering for 2-3 minutes to reduce slightly.
  • Stir in lemon juice, zest, red pepper flakes, salt, and pepper.

Combine Everything

  • Add the cooked shrimp back to the skillet.
  • Toss in the pasta, mixing well. If needed, add a splash of pasta water to loosen the sauce.
  • Sprinkle with Parmesan cheese and parsley.

Serve & Enjoy!

  • Garnish with extra lemon wedges and Parmesan.
  • Serve with garlic bread or a fresh salad for a complete Olive Garden experience!
